If you’re a Lower Saucon resident and you have not received a postcard inviting you to participate in a survey to gather opinions on economic development and land use in the Township, don’t worry. You still have time to participate! Or if you did receive a postcard, even if it came to the wrong name, you can still participate!

The survey is a follow-up to the initial assessment meeting that was held on March 16. The survey is seeking additional feedback that is critical to an ongoing financial study regarding the potential closing of the Bethlehem Landfill. There was so much misinformation circulated before the November 2025 election that the Township Council concluded it was critical to have a neutral, professional assessment of where resident priorities stand and what the financial implications are for community needs. Your response will provide that kind of input. The assessment is being conducted by the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission and the Meyner Center at Lafayette College.
