This coming Wednesday, December 18 at 6:30 PM is the last Township Council meeting for 2024. I know it’s been a grueling year, especially for the three councilwomen who have been working hard to fulfill the promises they made to Township residents in the face of the boorish and disgusting behavior of Banonis and Carocci and their little gang of claquers. Their behavior has been a deliberate attempt to chase residents from the meetings so we didn’t have to put up with their obscene behavior. And it’s worked to a certain extent. Attendance has been down. After all, who has 6 hours to devote to watching clowns twice a month.
The coming meeting, however, is an opportunity to reassert our support for the Council majority and celebrate what they have been able to accomplish in spite of all that crap. The Hellertown Area Library agreement for services is back on the agenda! The legal issues created by the previous majority have been resolved and this new agreement paves the way for the return of our access to all of HAL’s services.
And there’s been more accomplished in the last year – the return of the collaborative Compost Center, the return of the pool partnership, the return of both Hellertown and LST to the Council of Governments, the resolution of other legal issues instigated by our previous solicitor.
So please, come join us on Wednesday as we celebrate what’s been accomplished this year and look forward to what we can accomplish in the next as we continue the return to neighborly collaboration. See the invitation below for more details. Let’s make these truly happy holidays and thank our stalwart and resilient Councilwomen – Pris, Victoria and Laura.

See you there!!
